Meet Sean Rae

I joined the Workforce Genetics (WFGX) team as its Managing Director. Prior to joining WFGX, Sean had enjoyed a successful, decade-long career in the talent industry, serving in roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he was the Branch Manager for Ultimate Staffing located in Baltimore, Maryland.

Sean brings strong talent search leadership experience, deep industry expertise, a keen understanding of business operations and an expansive network to his new role. A Baltimore area native that has lived and worked in the local community for years, Sean is yet another team member with intimate knowledge of the BioHealth Capital Region’s assets, challenges and mission.

Sean lives in Manchester, Maryland with his wife and young daughter. He enjoys spending time outdoors, taking his daughter to the park and grilling and cooking with his wife on the weekends.

Seeing people achieve new benchmarks in their career and seeing them improve their personal life and their lifestyle. When I work with people, and they tell me they made six figures or bought their first house, that’s what drives me to lead. I love seeing the successes of the people around me grow not just in the business but in their personal lives.

I need to know the client first. I need to know the culture and work environment and be as much of an expert as I can be so I can share that with the candidate and be as open as possible.
It’s all about relationships and getting to know candidates and employers.

Doing the leg work in building relationships ahead of time helps me prepare a candidate before and during the interview process. This gives the candidate and the employer the best chance to find the right fit.
